If you’re a dance enthusiast or if you’ve always wanted to learn how to groove, then you’ll want to keep a close eye on this list.
‘Got To Move’ (GTM) is an initiative by the National Arts Council (NAC), it is a nationwide movement that celebrates the diversity of dance in Singapore. There’s something for everyone; from dance showcases to free dance classes! Regardless of expertise, you can be sure to expect a treat out of this.
Dance classes are just amongst the long list of freebies one has access to in this exhilarating month.
Without further ado, let’s tango through this list, shall we?
(29 October 2017, 8am-12pm)
GTM Spotlight is set to happen in the very heart of the civic district of Singapore, spicing up the already-culturally enriched zone into something more. You can expect a series of dance showcases, performances and most notably, the ‘GTM Dance-Walk’ that is scheduled to unravel on the road right in front of the National Gallery Singapore city hall steps.
‘GTM Dance-Walk’ redefines your typical morning-walk with a twist. How often do you get to sashay your way down the road right in front of the former supreme court building? Not to forget the upbeat tunes to kick-start your Sunday morning.
Look no further, get your friends and families to sign up today!
*Pre-registration is not compulsory to participate in this event, but the first 500 people to pre-register will receive Got to Move 2017 T-Shirts.
