If you are a fan of the original Artbox in BKK, then you should give Thai pop-up markets in SG another chance — The Finest Thai Festival at The Royal Thai Embassy from 8-10 September will definitely keep any Bangkok withdrawal syndrome in check.

Hosted by Sansiri & The Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore, this buzzy festival will feature some of the best Thai talents, from international entrepreneurs to musicians. Expect a showcase of Thailand’s premium offerings from two of Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood — Thonglor and Ekkamai — where all of the city’s newest cafes and dining concepts reside.

The festival will let you experience the quintessential Thai lifestyle, albeit with a hipster touch. Soak in the eclectic mix of Thai culture from the different districts and zones populated by chic cafes, restaurants, yoga studios and hang-out places.

The Finest Thai Cuisine Zone

Of course, as Singaporeans, we can all agree that ultimately the food is what makes or breaks a festival.

If you’re looking for a less gimmicky Thai market experience, this festival will definitely not disappoint you. It’s set to feature some of the country’s well-known F&B brands so you can get a taste of all the trendy Thai snacks and colorful drinks everyone raves about on social media without having to jet off to the land of smiles.

Fans of the iconic After You Dessert Cafe can also look forward to devouring their delectably sweet and thick Shibuya toasts.
