Forget all you know about BBQs – especially the ones at your friend’s condo, where everything tasted either chao ta or uncooked and you went home before the chicken wings were done.

For three weekends in July, F&B operators and second-gen hawkers will be plying their trade at a 1km stretch along Siloso beach, with a massive array of food ranging from grilled meat platters to Jumbo Hokkien noodles.

In addition to the mouthwatering food and the inaugural gourmet market, revel in live musical performances from local acts as you soak in the gentle breeze with an ice-cold beer in hand.

Mark July 7th on your calendar because you don’t want to miss the next edition of Singapore’s favorite street party.

You may be familiar with Urban Ventures for their previous takeovers of Keong Saik Road, where they transformed the entire street into a pedestrian-only zone with wild, wonderful, and free celebrations of arts, music, and individuality.

For their 10th edition, they’re shaking things up with a move to Temple Street for what will be the first-ever carbon-neutral street party in Singapore.
