Muji fans – you’re in for a real treat. Muji will be opening its biggest store ever in Singapore on 21 July. 

Some things that you can expect at this 1,896 sq m size retail store include:

1. Cafe & Meal Muji Eatery

The third of its kind in Singapore, the outlet at Plaza Singapura can host up to 70 diners. It will be serving Western and Japanese style “healthy” meals.

Two new and exclusive items found at the outlet, the Pork Katsu Donburi and Cheese Baked Butter Curry Chicken will only be available there and nowhere else in Singapore.

2. Exclusive Services

The outlet at Plaza Singapura will have services such as interior and styling advisers for its customers.

There will also be custom embroidery services which start at $3 available at the store, featuring designs such as the Merlion created for Singapore.
 

3. Open Muji

This space is specially curated for educational activities which include exhibitions, talks and workshops.

It is adapted from original concepts from MUJI Japan and is slated to serve as a community ground for people to congregate, explore and experience. 

The first exhibition is themed “Found MUJI” which sets its sights on showcasing exhibitions that “embrace the underlying values of the makers” and “retain the essence of their creations”.

4. New Merchandise Lines

Muji Labo – an apparel line that offers basic clothing eschews unnecessary embellishments in this entire clothing line.

IDÉE offers an assortment of goods that are not just cute and whimsical at times but functional as well.
